I'm always told 2 hours before and 2 hours after high tide to have the best chance of catching. However in my experience and I have been shore fishing for over 25 years my best catch rates are from an hour after low tide to an hour before High tide. The only exception to that is if the moon is visible during the day then I do change to the 2 before and after. So what are your experiences? Does it vary from area to area? Do you stick with what you know or try different times?
